Sustainability at Hotel ibis
We are proud to announce that ibis Plzeň has been awarded the Green Key certification, recognising our commitment to developing an environmentally and socially responsible establishment. Our entire team worked diligently to meet the demanding criteria required to successfully complete the certification process.
In the end, our efforts paid off – following an external audit, we were granted the certificate and are now part of the global network of Green Key certified properties.
Green Key Certificate
The Green Key certificate is a leading standard of excellence in environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry.
This prestigious eco-label represents a commitment by businesses to adhere to the strict criteria set by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). The certification covers a wide range of areas including environmental management, water conservation, waste management and energy efficiency, guest and staff involvement and awareness, food and beverage practices, as well as open spaces and green areas.
